For anyone who is curious about our post production process, we have the some process antidotes. We have been deep in post production since September 2020. Our process involved starting by logging of all footage, archival research for support materials, and transcription of interviews. Then, we moved into the edit process. Since the director was also the editor, we relied on valued mentors and focus groups to give feedback to push us through rough cut, fine cut, and into picture lock. We are now working on finalizing graphics, color correction, the score, and sound mix. Simultaneously, we are of course looking for opportunities to do outreach, connect with organizations interested in our platform, build our social media platform, and follow up on distribution.

This is a long process that demands endurance and optimism for the crew. I'm sure that you can understand this sentiment which echoes through all projects that connect to our humanity and heart.

The posts are offering insight into every step of the process of developing our first feature film : pre-production, production, and post production. Eventually, we will also include information on social media strategy and distribution plans.

The documentary feature film MACHINE was awarded a Faculty Research Grant in May 2019. Production started immediately with primary shooting completed in July 2019. We are currently in post production with a pick up shoot planned for Jan 2020. We recently received fiscal sponsorship through Fractured Atlas and are in the process of raising funds. Due to the possible social impact of the film, we intend to begin distribution through various channels beginning in this summer. 

We will update the public with progress and imagery as the story unfolds.
